Day 1

Njp Rly Station / Ixb Airport – Darjeeling

  • 1. Meet & greet at airport/station & transfer to Darjeeling.
  • 2. Drive to Darjeeling. On arrival check-in to hotel.

Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 2

Darjeeling local sightseeing (03 points & 08 points)

Early morning (at 04:00 am) – 03 points
  • 1. Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over mt. Khangchendzongha
  • 2. On your way back visit Ghoom Monastery

Day 3

Darjeeling to Njp Station/Ixb Airport

After breakfast check out from hotel on time and take the departure transfer to Njp Railway Station / Ixb Airport for your onward journey. Tour ends

  • Vehicle type has been assigned as per guest requirement meant for transfers & sightseeing. Vehicle will not be at disposal. It will be available as per itinerary only (point to point basis)

  • Air fare / Train fare. Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (toy train), porterage.
  • Additional sightseeing, detour or extra usage of vehicle other than mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Entrance fee’s & guide charge’s. Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
  • Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
  • Travel insurance. Anything that is not included in the inclusion.

  • Hotel & room provided will be either the one mentioned in the itinerary or similar category as hotels are subject to availability.
  • Keeping in mind the closing day for sightseeing schedule/room availability itinerary can be changed without prior notice.
  • Please carry the identity proof along with 4 passport size photos per person so that it can be produced if asked by hotel.
  • Permit required for Tsomgo Lake & nathula Pass. It is mandatory that guest carry 04 copies of passport size photograph, original photo id proof with photocopy (identity card – voter id card/pass-port/driving license etc.), for processing the permit. (all traveller including child)
  • Permit also required for travelling to north Sikkim (lachung & lachen). Requires 02 more copies of passport size photographs along with original photo id proof. (all traveller including child-school id or birth certificates)

Cancellation Policy

  • up to 30 days before arrival: rs 2500 retained.
  • within 29 days to 15 days: 50% of full amount retained.
  • within 14 days to 0 day: no refund.
  • cancellation is also subject to the cancellation policy of the hotel booked too.

Alteration Policy

  • no alteration is permitted once the booking is confirmed.
  • alteration in case of emergency will attract an extra charge.

Child Policy

  • 1. Children above 10 years will be charged as per adult rate.
  • 2. Children between 5yrs to10yrs, sharing parent’s room will be charged as per the child policy of the hotel.
  • 3. Children below 5 years are complimentary.
  • 4. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced as and when asked by the hotel.

Notes on hotel used in the packages

  • 1. We have selected, combined & graded the hotels in a manner, so that you get similar standard of services & facilities at every destination / place of retirement.
  • 2. For extra person sharing the room & child with extra bed, almost all the hotel of our area provides mattress and rollovers as a supplement to extra bed.
  • 3. Most of the hotels in the hills do not have lift, so you have to climb stairs to reach their rooms. In case anyone has problems with blood pressure, breathing, knee & heart or if someone cannot climb the higher floors, we will request you to report this problem immediately so that we are careful in assigning hotels which will be more convenient than the ones quoted/reserved.
  • 4. water is scarce in the hills. kindly use water responsibly.
  • 5. Hotel in deluxe & standard category provides room heater on request & on extra payment.

Notes on transportation used in the packages

  • 1. Vehicles hired are on a point-to-point basis and not on disposal.
  • 2. Your driver is your best guide during the tour. Please try to maintain cordial relationship with them.
  • 3. Your luggage is your own responsibility. Take care of your baggage during the tour.
  • 4. In Gangtok, tata sumo/ bolero (non luxury vehicles) is allowed to go only up to the stand after which small cars (4 seater) are provided to take you to the hotel.
  • 5. as per the motor vehicle act, seating capacity of a luxury vehicle (innova/xylo/similar) is 06 persons including adult and children. Also while opting for luxury vehicle please travel light with minimum baggage. In case of excess baggage the guest will have to opt for an extra vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost for this will be collected directly from the guest. Seating capacity of a non luxury vehicle (tata sumo/bolero/similar) is 08 persons and 4 people in case of a small vehicle (alto/wagon-r/similar)

Note on general operations

  • 1. In case of any flight / train cancellation, Darjeeling tourism tours & travel will not be responsible for the same and the cancellation policy will be applicable.
  • 2. Sikkim & Darjeeling is a hilly area. We advise our guest to carry warm clothes even during summer time and heavy woolens in winter.
  • 3. any extra expenses incurred due to natural calamity or political disturbance is to be borne by the guest directly on the spot in actual.
